Hi! My name is Hillary Minter. I am an abstract artist focusing on alcohol ink and mixed media painting. I'm a native of the Pacific Northwest living in Woodinville, Washington. Much of my inspiration comes from our beautiful northwest surroundings with a high emphasis on nature, earth tones and sometimes the creatures that roam our woods.

What is alcohol ink painting? In a nutshell, it is an art form and a fluid painting technique that utilizes rich pigments (inks), isopropyl alcohol, an air source (to move it around) and synthetic paper or any non-porous surface.  Each piece is a unique original that can not be replicated exactly.
